Parents

Aware that the parents have a significant role to play in the overall performance of the students, SCC keeps strong rapport with the parents and involve them in the decision making processes.

Two parents' meet are organized in every academic year:the first, in the odd semester and the second, in the even semester. In every semester, after the first CIA examinations, the progress report of the students along with their attendance percentage is sent to the parents and they are required to come and meet the class mentor and discuss the performance of the students. During the parents’ meet the college also organises special input sessions for the parents by experts.

SCC encourages the parents to periodically visit the college, meet the class mentor and discuss the performance and the attendance of the students.

The College also provides access for parents to its Management Information System through which they could be informed of the performance of the students in the internal exams and their daily attendance.
