A two-day adventure trip was organized to Guru Freddy’s Ashram on July 13 and 14, 2018 for I year B.Com TT Students. The objective of the trip was to help the students to bond with each other, apart from introducing them to adventure tourism. The objective was achieved by programming and structuring the two days with a mix of fun activities and serious training, using adventure as a tool to facilitate dynamic non-linear learning. The adventure camp comprised of training in navigation skills, river-crossing techniques, rappelling, nature awareness, trekking, rock-climbing, cave exploration, obstacle course and survival techniques in the forest. All the programs were modeled for execution in a rustic environment, within the campus of the Ashram.
