St. Claret College offers Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counseling aimed to build up professionals in this imperative field, that is gaining greater salience in the present times from social and employment perspectives. In today’s dynamic world, a transformation is fast and often unpredictable.
The incidence of mental and physical ill health is rising; it is affecting people from all walks of life. There are no training programs available for professionals to learn, apply and practice the skills required to engage with people’s problems. However, though the need for counselors is being increasingly felt, there is a scarcity of professional support. This course PG Diploma in Counselling will facilitate students to learn scientifically grounded and empirically supported interventions, equipping them for both wage-employment and self-employment and thus filling the existing lacuna.
