Vrindha Rajesh P , III BBA 'B'

As a child, I really enjoyed Eastern dance. My sister, who was already part of the college dance team, encouraged me to audition. I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness during the process.

But Fashion shows weren't something I thought I'd be into, but when I saw my college's fashion team auditions, I decided to give it a try. Even though I was a bit anxious, I went through multiple rounds of auditions and eventually became a part of the team.

After going through the audition process, I recall doing my first fashion show and dance performance for Recipro an intra-collegiate fest. Eventually, I participated in numerous fests both within and outside my college.

One of the challenges I faced was to manage both dance and fashion show. I recall rehearsing both dance and fashion shows simultaneously, when other dancers took a break, I remember rushing to another venue to practice fashion show. There were times when I was urged to choose just one but I was never ready to give up on either. Thanks to my friends who always helped me with the makeup and attire, one of my biggest challenges on the day of the fest was having to perfom a dance performance first before changing into my fashion show attire.

Both fashion team and dance team became like my second family and I'll always treasure the memories and friendship.

I'm so grateful to my amazing friends, seniors, department and all the other teachers who supported me throughout this journey. Thank you all for believing in me and helping me grow as a dancer and fashion enthusiast. You've made this experience truly special!

I'm so thankful to St. Claret College for giving me incredible opportunities which contributed to my personal growth.

Thank you
