  CERTIFIED MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ( US CMA)   Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a professional certification course in management, accounting, and finance. CMA is a global certification that is recognized by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Certified management accountant is a professional certification which has a significant expertise in financial accounting and strategic management. It not only covers the basics of financial accounting proficiency but includes an in-depth focus on management skills that aid in making strategic business decisions based on financial data.   The CMA certification demonstrates a command of the critical accounting and financial management skills. CMA’s are qualified to work across multiple areas in an organization, not just in finance. Careers for CMA’s are varied, this growing profession, at its core, involves using specialized accounting expertise to assist in management decision-making and planning.   CMA is a more finance-oriented course, which focuses on giving specialized training to candidates in areas such as auditing, business planning, financial planning, costing analysis, budget preparation, forecasting, company investments, etc.   US CMA Exam Content and Format The computerized CMA exam features two parts with 100 multiple-choice questions and two essay scenarios each. You have four hours of total testing time to finish each part. You can take the exam on any weekday within the testing windows, which cover six of the 12 months each year. US CMA Exam Parts:
