The Department of Commerce – Travel and Tourism in association with various reputed institutions and organisations conducts a number of add on programs and certificate courses for its students, in order to improve their practical skills in the relevant field compatible with industry requirements, which also enhances opportunities for better employment.

1	IATA – (International Air Transport Association) Certification	Equipping oneself with the IATA qualification helps in widening the professional scope in many more domains. These include Airlines, Ticketing Travel Agencies, Cruise Lines, Tour Operators, Car Rentals, and Hotels. The worldwide acceptance of IATA Training Course makes it the most sought after.
2	French Language	In association with Alliance Française Bangalore, add-on program on French Language, at the initial levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
3	Tourism Specialist Certificate Courses	To enable students to be tourism specialists of countries. This courses are recommended for all students of the department. The course is provided by respective tourism ministries of countries. 1. South Africa 2. Australia 3. South Korea
