Engaging and Interactive Classes at SCIM

Abhishek B. N.

When I had a plan of pursuing my Masters's in Business, I was in a dilemma about how to proceed. Numerous questions began arising in my mind. Will I cope with the 2 years of life-changing course? Will I be able to do well in business academics? Likewise, I wasn’t sure if I should go for it as I am from a non-commerce (engineering) background. So, I did my research to find the best MBA college in Bangalore. And that is when I came across St Claret Institute of Management (SCIM) which happens to be one of the top-ranked MBA colleges in Bangalore.

I contacted the college to fetch the course details and the fee structure. I was quite surprised to know that this college is among the least fee MBA colleges in India. Furthermore, I found out that SCIM is one of the highest placement MBA colleges in Bengaluru.

So, I joined the MBA program, and there my promising journey began. The teaching faculty is very kind and helpful. Likewise, the classes are designed to keep the students engaged and interactive. Every day, we discuss the day-to-day business activities that are going on in the world.

They made each one of us students find our inner fears and overcome them. A lot of students have the nervousness of facing the crowd. For me, speaking in front of my classmates and teachers was a huge deal.

Therefore, I am thankful to the lecturers who gave us the hope and motivation to face any crowd. Besides that, they also teach us tips and tricks that helped us get over our stage fear. They made sure that we are practicing and every Monday, we were told to speak about various topics of business for a minute. Through this, we can prepare for the GD interview. And over the past few months, we have learned to carry ourselves with elegance and confidence.

It is safe to say that I can see a significant change within myself and when it comes to addressing a crowd, I am very confident. With lots of pride, I can say that SCIM is one of the best MBA colleges in India. Here in SCIM, weekly activities like journal club, current affairs club and many other fun programs like a treasure hunt and many other activities are conducted which help in enhancing our skills outside our study circle.

The main intention behind these activities is to refresh the mind. After all, mind exercises are essential to deal with our stressful lifestyle.

Every week we have a webinar based on various topics like deep machine learning, covid19 second wave, personal branding, etc. The experts in the respective fields are invited and they share the message and also they help to cope with today’s corporate world.
