The Academic Council is the principal academic body of St. Claret College, Autonomous, entrusted with maintaining the standards of teaching, learning, evaluation, and research in the institution. As the apex body for academic matters, it formulates and approves curricula, regulations, and policies that shape the academic life of the college. The Council includes the Principal, Heads of Departments, Chairpersons of Boards of Studies, Bangalore University Nominees and external experts from academia, industry, and society, ensuring that diverse perspectives contribute to academic excellence. Through its deliberations and decisions, the Academic Council upholds the vision and mission of the college, while also aligning programmes with the evolving needs of students, industry, and the larger community.
