Institution-Industry Cell
The Institution-Industry partnership fosters Research Development and innovation by bringing together industry and institutional partners. To introduce interventions to fill the gap in industry requirement and student’s employability skills, SCC established Institution-Industry Cell in 2019-10. The cell consists of the Principal as the Chairman, and all the heads of the departments as members and two faculty members as coordinators. This cell has established MoUs with Industry bodies such as Peenya Industries Association and Karnataka State Small Scale Industries Association to facilitate collaborative and productive partnerships.

Functions
    • Organizing workshops, panel discussions, webinars, guest lectures and seminars
    • Creating internship opportunities for the students
    • Invited talks from Industrialist and Entrepreneurs
    • Joint research and consultancy
    • Industrial Visits to provide students with the broad picture of what is taught in the classroom.

  Objective
    • To reduce the gap between Industry and Academia
    • To enhance the mutual cooperation between industry and academia by leveraging the strengths and opportunities.
    • To implement the suggestions of industry experts in academics to enhance the employability of the students.
