Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at St. Claret College, Autonomous, is a full-
time, AICTE-approved postgraduate programme spanning two years (four semesters).
Tailored for graduates with a passion for mastering modern programming languages, the
programme offers a well-balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on
practical training. The curriculum is meticulously designed to equip students with the skills
needed to conceptualize, design, analyze, and develop cutting-edge software solutions,

Eligibility Criteria:
Admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme shall be open for the
candidates who have passed Bachelor degree with not less than 50% of marks in the
aggregate of all the years of the degree examination with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer
Science / Computer Applications / Business Mathematics / Business Statistics as one of the
core or elective course at degree level or graduate degree from a recognized University with
Mathematics at 10+2 level. However, in case of the candidates from Karnataka belonging to
SC / ST and CAT I, 45% of marks as aggregate shall be considered for admission.

Eligibility
Admission to M.Sc., Data Science is open to candidates who have passed B.Sc. Data Science / Computer Science / BCA with not less than 50% marks as aggregate or Candidates who have passed B.Sc., Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Electronics with Computer Science or Data Science as one of the Core / Elective courses. Candidates who have completed B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with a P.G. Diploma / Certificate Course in Computer Science of one-year duration are also eligible.
